ATSDR Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, Public Health Assessments. ATSDR, is an agency of the U.S. Public Health Service. It was established by Congress in 1980 under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, also known as the Superfund law.
